Quite a Different Green Tea
I bought three of the Green Teas from virtue and they are all very good. This one is quite different from the rest. I find the taste similar to Matcha in a lot of ways. Highly recommended.
Indeed, the Nagashima is more vegetable like which we find in quality Japanese tea. One of my personal favorites! Thanks Forrest. - Alex
My favourite green tea to date
Absolutely fantastic. It's clear how meticulously produced and roasted this tea is. Usually I do a rinse of any green tea to flush the bitters, but the rinse of this tea was delicious on its own :) I've been able to produce 3 tasty steeps from this sencha, each a bit distinct, at approx. 70 degC 30sec, 80 degC 1min, 90 degC 2min. It is VERY easy to oversteep, and I recommend a large amount of tea about 1 Tbsp per cup, to yield the above steeps. Rich, fruity and chocolate. The lime green colour is absolutely stunning. Will definitely be ordering more and likely making this a staple!
I totally agree, this tea is a little tricky to gauge at first but when the infusion has been fine tuned, it's absolutely amazing!
Sencha Nagashima - Incredible!
Like everything that Virtue offers, their Sencha Nagashima is outstanding! Tea lovers can't go wrong.
The Sencha Nagashima is my go to green tea. Glad to hear you're enjoying it as well Ryan. Thanks for the amazing support!
Best Green Tea ever!
Nagashima is well balanced nice shencha.
Best Green Tea
Nagashima is one of the best Green Tea I can find. Well balanced, rich flavour as Gyokuro Green tea but still smooth as Sencha. Highly recommended!!
